This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or trackers, requires no account, and makes no third-party requests when you load a page — the optional newsletter form sends data only if you submit it. Fonts and all assets are served from this domain. We do not collect, store, or process any personal data ourselves beyond that optional, user-initiated form. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
If you submit the newsletter form, your email address is sent directly to Buttondown, Inc., our newsletter processor, solely to deliver the round-by-round emails you signed up for. Subscribing is double opt-in — you'll get a confirmation email before anything else is sent — and every email includes an unsubscribe link. The form itself is a plain HTML submission: no JavaScript runs, and no request to Buttondown happens unless you deliberately click subscribe. The site is served as static files via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.), which — like any web host — technically processes visitor IP addresses in transit to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Cloudflare acts as a hosting provider/CDN; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not receive or retain this data.
